Super Bowl Host Committee Needs 6,000 Volunteers
The date and location are set, now the push is on to get volunteers. The Tampa Bay Super Bowl Host Committee needs 6,000 volunteers to greet visitors at the airport and area hotels, help with transportation.
Volunteers must be at least 18-years-old by November 2008 and agree to a background check and be willing to volunteer for two four-hour shifts. Applications will be available on line starting Tuesday, April 1t. Volunteers get a hat, shirt, and jacket to keep. Sorry, no tickets.
