Super Bowl Vendors Must Follow Rules
The Super Bowl isn't just a football game, it's a chance for people to make money. The city is working on a "clean zone" ordinance that will set rules for vendors who want to sell merchandise. People want to sell everything from stuffed animals to sea shells. Not all of them are aware that they need to be licensed by the NFL to sell logo matierials.
City officials are also hoping to deter "house parties" near the stadium that charge admission fees in exchange for all the food and alcohol. These parties amount to alcohol sales, which require a license from the Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco and a permit from the city.
